Stearic acid is used as a vulcanisation activator , stabilizer , softener and mould agent in black tyres.
The typical carbon distribution is :- C12,C14 : 4 - 6 % , C16 : 30 - 40 % , C18 : 40 - 50 % , C18-1 : 15.0 %
